Essence Arenal is a unique destination tucked in a lush rainforest jungle in Costa Rica. Its 22 hectares are home to an Eco Lodge, a restaurant, a permaculture farm, a spa, a wellness retreat, and an eco residential community, among other experiences. They offer stunning views of the El Castillo Valley, Lake, and Arenal Volcano. The property is also dedicated to environmental sustainability, using 90% solar energy, naturally occurring spring water that is sourced nearby, and keeping a pesticide-free atmosphere.

Nutritional, organic, vegetarian, and vegan food is their restaurant’s area of expertise. They use fresh produce from their organic farm and local farmers while also accommodating particular dietary needs. The Eco Lodge has a variety of lodging choices, such as private rooms, glamping treehouses, and one-bedroom casitas with kitchens and living spaces. There are opportunities for quick hikes in the mountainous terrain because the living areas are dispersed throughout 2 hectares of forest.

They also have a spa that offers a variety of therapies with a focus on natural healing. Visitors can take advantage of a relaxing aromatherapy steam bath, a sauna, and a hydrotherapy jacuzzi with an incredible view of the Arenal Volcano. The spa uses locally harvested ingredients, such as herbs, to provide a distinctive and organic experience. Seasonal therapists and healers who offer extra treatments and services are also hosted by Essence Arenal.
