Peniche Surf Lodge

Peniche, Portugal, also regarded as the westernmost town in Europe, is home to the Peniche Surf Lodge, which hosts surfers from all over the world. The lodge provides cozy amenities like bicycles, windbreaks, sofas, parasols, and beach activities. Surfers will love its location since Papoa Beach, which has a semi-reef suited for all skill levels, is just across the road. Supertubos, another well-known surfing location renowned for its ideal shallow barrels, is only a short drive or walk away. The 3-mile Alfarroba dune beach, which offers sandy beach breaks ideal for all skill levels, is close to the lodge too. With many café bars and restaurants that look out over the beach, the nearby Baleal is a perfect location for quiet beach breaks.

There are two lodges at Peniche Surf Lodge, with Lodge 2 being more suited for families, friends, and couples. Both lodges are perfectly placed inside Peniche’s historic walls, close to the town entrance and facilities, and close to the beach and the ocean. The lodge rents out rooms all year long, and from November to March, groups and families can choose to rent out the entire building or a private unit. Cable TV, breakfast, and free Wi-Fi are offered by the accommodations.

Peniche Surf Lodge also provides equipment rentals and surfing lessons with certified instructors. Their knowledgeable team is committed to imparting their surf expertise and directing visitors to the best surf places, including Duncan, who has over 35 years of surfing experience, and Dane Hall, a sponsored surfer with vast competition experience. Additionally, Dane offers advanced surf coaching with a focus on refining different areas of surfing through surf safaris and video analysis. This includes training weeks and daily surfing coaching sessions.
