Crestone Mountain Zen Center

Crestone Mountain Zen Center is a monastic Zen practice center in Crestone, Colorado, operated by Dharma Sangha. It welcomes individual guests who want to arrange a personal retreat in a quiet practice environment rather than follow a fixed resort programme.

The center currently accepts personal-retreat reservations ranging from four nights to three months. Accommodation varies in size, facilities and distance from the main buildings, including a campground option. Guests receive three vegetarian meals a day and may eat with the residential community or take meals back to their lodging.

Participation in zazen is optional. The meditation hall is also available for personal practice, while another practice space can be used for meditation, yoga, tai chi or similar quiet movement. Campus trails provide access to the surrounding landscape.
