Description
Paojilhuasca offers immersive retreats in the jungle with native shamans. Every retreat is adapted to your needs. During your stay, you can take Ayahuasca, kambo, and yopo, follow a plant diet, and have floral baths. You can also learn to prepare your own ancestral medicines, experience Shirin-yoku, and learn how to identify local medicinal plants.
Paojilhuasca Medicine Center in Peru offers immersive retreats focusing on Amazonian plant medicine, guided by experienced shamans. Participants engage in healing practices such as Ayahuasca ceremonies, Kambo treatments, and plant diets tailored to personal needs. The center emphasizes cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, and community support.
The Paojilhuasca center is located in Paraíso (Paradise), a village on the river Itaya, not far from Iquitos. Depending on the weather conditions, we can be reached by boat from Iquitos (5 hours), by motor taxi (1 to 2 hours) or by foot (motor taxi to kilometre 32 of the Iquitos-Nauta road, then 2 hours walk through the jungle).
Additionally, Paojilhuasca fosters transformative self-discovery and wellness through ancestral medicine, hands-on learning, and eco-conscious practices. It contributes to local welfare, supporting education, healthcare, and alcohol addiction recovery for neighboring communities.
