Samma Karuna is an International School of Awakening and Healing located in Koh Phangan, Thailand. Their goal is to provide a mindfulness community for people who want to live a happier, more fulfilled, and wholesome life based on principles of self-development, acceptance, and celebration. They offer various programs such as Yoga Teacher Training, BioDevelopment, Tantra Teacher Training, Breathwork Multi-Style Facilitator Training, and Detox Program.

Their Awakening and Healing Program is a comprehensive non-dogmatic personal development program that runs all year round and is designed to support individuals in their personal development through deeply experiential activities. The program aims to unlock tools for finding one’s truth and path as a cornerstone for a happier, more vital, and fulfilled life.

Samma Karuna believes that experiential learning is the best form of learning, and they focus on achieving true wisdom acquired through one’s experience rather than receiving the experiences of a guru through words or ancient texts. Their sole purpose is to help each individual become who they really want to be by reconnecting them with their inner self and inner wisdom, which helps them lead a more prosperous and fulfilling life. They facilitate each individual’s journey of self-exploration, rather than giving them prescribed answers or solutions.

Samma Karuna offers different packages with accommodation such as the 4 Weeks Awakening & Healing program, the 22 Days, 21 Nights Yoga, Art, Meditation & Celebration program, and the 11 Days, 10 Nights Yoga, Active Meditations & Celebration program. Their teachers are highly experienced and offer various styles of yoga and meditation, as well as active and dynamic meditations from OSHO, Tantra practices, guided meditations, Vipassana meditation, Tetra Breathwork, BioDevelopment® (Dance Therapy), Dance Meditation, and Shower of love Meditation®, among others.

Samma Karuna regularly organizes festivals, workshops, and conscious events focused on self-development. They also have a Compassion in Action program where individuals can donate to support their cause.
