Description

Resting in between beautiful mountains of exotic Mae Hong Son, Thailand, Wat Pa Tam Wua Forest Monastery is a sanctuary that offers spiritual guidance to those who wish to seriously practice meditating in a peaceful and natural monastic setting.

They will provide full accommodations such as single huts, dormitories, white clothes, and bedding, as well as two vegetarian meals per day with tea, coffee, juice, or soy milk, all for free. Their main focus is the Vipassana Meditation or the Mindfulness of Breathing, and you can do it here with beautiful scenery around you or sitting near a waterfall.

Meditation classes are available in the morning and afternoon. Anyone can stay here for a minimum of three days and a maximum of ten days as long as you abide by the rules and attend all their daily activities.

In this place of refuge and self-discovery, bookings are not necessary as they gladly accept walk-ins. People of all ages, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced level practitioner, are all welcome.
