Suan Mokkh

Suan Mokkh was a forest monastery along the coast of Southern Thailand. It was founded in 1932 and grew to become the most innovative and progressive Buddhist teaching center in Siam. Most of their programs include an introduction to meditation and daily sittings.

Housing is available for those who wish to stay longer. Study programs are also arranged for the many groups that come for a few days to over a week. The atmosphere here is both informal and committed, lively and relaxed, challenging and friendly.
