Description

Bend of Ivy Lodge is a serene eco-sanctuary tucked into more than 37 acres of mountain land in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Its architecture and grounds are thoughtfully designed to blend with nature — with features like zen gardens, ponds, organic farm plots, wooded trails, riverbanks, and scenic viewpoints. Lodging is spread among several rustic-yet-comfortable facilities: The Lodge (main building), The Studio & Roadhouse, The Pavilion, and a charming Boathouse by the pond. The setting invites guests to slow down, connect with the land, and reset from the busyness of everyday life.

The lodge caters especially well to retreats and gatherings: wellness and leadership retreats, family & friends stays, weddings, vow renewals, and small group events. The spaces are versatile: meeting halls, open-air or private areas, indoor and outdoor zones for dining, workshops, meditation, nature walks, etc. The mission of the place is “Intentional Growth” — guiding visitors to steward nature, people, and purpose. Overall, it feels like a place to restore, renew, and play in nature, with privacy, beauty, and spiritual / restorative grounding.
