Description

Sacruna is one of the top 5 retreat centres in Europe. You will surely be able to dedicate yourself to their programs that are held in a restored medieval castle, 1.5 hours away from Barcelona. They make sure that all their guests are comfortable, and they devote the maximum amount of time, attention, and care to everyone. Post-retreat support is also included to make sure that you integrate the new experience effectively.

Some of their offerings are meditation, yoga, sound healing, and shamanic breathing. They will teach you how to improve your focus, release emotional blockages and stress in your body, improve your overall well-being, and get rid of fears, negative emotions, and psychological issues.

They also have different ceremonies and rituals that use indigenous herbal plants such as Ayahuasca, Kambo, Rapé, San Pedro, and Cacao. These ceremonies are led by real Shipibo shamans who are renowned master healers in the Amazonian jungle and have years of experience with plant medicine.

About Girona

Girona is a charming city in the northeastern region of Catalonia, Spain. Situated about 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, Girona is admired for its history, well-preserved medieval architecture, and picturesque landscapes. The city is divided into two parts by the Onyar River. On one side lies the historic old town, known as the Barri Vell, while on the other side is the newer part of the city. The Barri Vell is a maze of narrow cobblestone streets, ancient walls, and well-preserved buildings that date back to Roman and medieval times. One of the most prominent landmarks there is the Cathedral of Saint Mary of Girona. This magnificent Gothic-style cathedral features an impressive nave, stunning stained glass windows, and a set of 90 steps known as “the Creation Staircase.” By climbing the steps, you can see the panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. Girona hosts several festivals throughout the year that attract both locals and tourists. The Girona Flower Festival, held in May, sees the city decorated with elaborate floral displays. The Temps de Flors festival transforms courtyards, gardens, and historic buildings into stunning floral exhibitions. The city boasts several Michelin-starred restaurants, including the ever-consistent El Celler de Can Roca, for culinary enthusiasts. Girona is also renowned for its traditional Catalan cuisine, which includes dishes such as pa amb tomàquet (bread with tomato), suquet de peix (fish stew), and crema catalana (Catalan cream).
