Description
Aldeia Rizoma is an ecological sanctuary in Serra da Bocaina, located in the Atlantic forest and 10 kilometres from the UNESCO World Heritage Site Paraty. The village comprises of eight houses that are situated over a vast expanse of 30 hectares of forest. These houses showcase a blend of traditional Brazilian indigenous architecture and futuristic designs, giving you a unique lodging experience and allowing you to reconnect with nature.
Aside from their distinctive accommodations, they also feature agroforestry, meditation areas, a gym, a body therapy room, a sauna next to the waterfall, numerous trails, a steam bath with medicinal herbs, and natural wells that will undoubtedly enhance your immersive experience with nature. Their activities aim to improve your physical, mental and spiritual well-being and promote healing.
Guided tours and trail walks can be requested to learn more about PANCS, medicinal plants, and agroecological practices. If you don’t feel like walking, you can join the yoga and meditation classes that are held in the village houses or the Agni space. Creative immersions, retreats, private celebrations and corporate events can also be accommodated here.
